Support MWI in the 2026 Donor Campaign

We extend our deepest appreciation for all your support! Our 2026 Donor Campaign runs through December 31st.

For this year’s random drawing we are offering a beautiful, high quality archival print of the painting “Buddha” by Tara DiGesu. Second and third prizes are a stunning signed print photograph by Dungse Jampal Norbu and a signed copy of the children’s book “The Life of the Buddha” illustrated by Tara DiGesu. You will be eligible for the drawing if during 2026 you give or have given a cumulative amount of $108 or more.

Buddha by Tara DiGesu

First Prize

This artwork is of Buddha Shakyamuni, the one who defeats Mara. On the back, it is signed by the artist, Tara DiGesu, and has been blessed with seed syllables by Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche.

This is a print of the original painting. While Tara’s thangka paintings remain essentially faithful to the Tibetan tradition she trained in, she is known for a gently shifted stylistic emphasis that brings the fresh and unique ethereal quality to her work. This print is up to 30cm with a 2cm white border. It is a Giclee print that is a high quality, archival, fine art print on acid free Hahnemühle paper. With proper care it can last a lifetime. Like an original painting, it should be stored out of direct sunlight and avoid moisture.
